Study of Eye Problems among Long Term Computer users in Ahmedabad City

Background: India being the forerunner in cyber world occupational health problem is slowly awakeningto this group of modern diseases, which are taking its roots among information technology(IT) professionals. Studies have also shown that computer users at greater risk developing eye problems andvisual fatigue.Methodology: Cross sectional study was carried out over a period one year time 800 participants tostudy users.Results: Out participants; 70.25% had any related problem. If workmore than four hours single spell prevalence 84.49%. Prevalence visual wasmaximum (76.67%) who use for seven to nine per day.Conclusion: It observed occurrence more number spent gazing atthe screen years work.
